- "The Corner Pocket is a local music radio show that started in 1997 at
89.3 KUGS in Bellingham that seeks to highlight the rich musical past and
present that grows out of Bellingham and surrounding areas of Whatcom,
Skagit and San Juan counties. The radio show aims to do as many live
musical performances and interviews with artists as possible. The Corner
Pocket is also an ongoing cultural project that seeks to archive and
document all the recordings and musical enterprises that emerge in the
area, as well as help promote, support and encourage mutual fondness and
appreciation in and of this music community."
